38 homes searched in anti-thoughtcrime operation by German police

On Thursday June 6, German police searched 38 homes and made multiple arrests in an operation against people posting “hate messages” online. The suspects are said to have posted inciments to violence, anti-semitic insults, and in some cases only inflammatory or anti-immigrant comments.

This was the police’s third coordinated day aimed at battling ‘online hatred’.

Any definition of what constitutes hate speech, insults, inflammatory or anti-immigrant comments are conveniently missing in media reports.
