Geert Wilders has announced a Muhammed cartoon contest to be held in the secured PVV quarters of the Dutch national parliament later this year. In 2015, Wilders was present at the Muhammad Art Exhibit and Contest in Garland, Texas, organized by the American Freedom Defense Initiative and JihadWatch, which was struck by a terrorist attack later claimed by ISIS in which only the two attackers lost their lives.
Wilders has been under permanent security supervision and living in safehouses for years because of serious threats from Muslim radicals.
