Four teenagers from Duisburg (Germany) were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on a 17 year-old pregnant girl. Prosecutors believe one of the suspects didn’t want to become a father.
The girl was attacked by a group of masked assailants last week, and suffered stab wounds. She managed to escape and four boys, aged 15, 16 and 17. The victim’s ex-boyfriend (with both Turkish and German nationality) is believed to be the instigator, as he (allegedly) set up the ambush: the two were on a walk, talking about the pregnancy when they were attacked – and then he joined the attackers.
Before the attack, the ex-boyfriend had already threatened the girl, warning her not to tell anyone he was the father of her unborn child.
