Revisionism: Russians snubbed, Germans welcomed for WWII ceremonies

Angela Merkel was present at a D-Day remembrance ceremony in the UK, an event which the official The Royal Family Twitter account described as The Queen meeting leaders of ‘the allied nations that took part in D-Day’. Vladimir Putin, or any representative for Russia was suspiciously absent, yet not mentioned.

The same thing is set up in Zeeland, The Netherlands, where Han Polman has invited Germany but not Russia, to a remembrance ceremony in Terneuzen that is being announced as a meeting of ‘all the countries that fought to end the war in The Netherlands’, and which will take place on August 31st.
