Thousands of farmers gather to protest Dutch government

Thousands of farmers gathered in The Hague on October 1st and October 16th to protest the Dutch government’s proposed environmental policies, which are extremely strict, even when compared to neighboring countries Germany and Belgium, and which disproportionately affect the agricultural community.

They caused records traffic jams during rush hour, yet continue to count on massive support from the population, which is clearly tired of climate extremism becoming mainstream. Thousands of tractors clogging the freeways and city streets offered an impressive spectacle.
