Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was, unsurprisingly, one of many people who shared the news of an 11 year-old girl who claimed someone had tried to cut off her headscarf in Toronto. Now it has turned out the attack never happened and either the girl made it up or someone put her up to it. In stead of apologizing for spreading the hoax, Trudeau is jumping on the incident (which didn’t happen) again, to reiterate the dangers of “hate crimes” against minorities.
In a statement sent to CTVNews.ca Monday afternoon, Office of the Prime Minister spokesperson Eleanore Catenaro said, “We are thankful and relieved that this incident did not take place.”
“We have seen an unfortunate pattern of increased hate crimes in past months directed towards religious minorities, particularity towards women,” the PMO statement also said. “We need to take this issue extremely seriously as this pattern is a warning sign of increased intolerance.”
Toronto mayor John Tory did the same:
It is good to know that this event didn't happen.
We all must remain vigilant in the fight against hate, racism, bigotry, anti-Semitism and Islamophobia to make sure our city remains an inclusive place.

Again, dismissal of “Islamophobia” (which is not actually a thing), no denouncement whatsoever of the people who spread false information, taking up police resources and polluting the discourse on an important topic.
Why will Trudeau not condemn the hoax, as precisely the sort of thing that increases the mistrust and the divide in western societies? Why does no one in the mainstream media pressure him into condemning it, like they did with Trump after Charlottesville?
Oh no wait, he didn’t. But that just underlines the pattern of Trudeau’s violent oppression, which we must take very seriously, because that pattern (even if I’m making it up) is a warning sign of how dangerous he is.
The establishment’s lies and hypocrisy are becoming clearer for all to see. It doesn’t matter if there are actual hate crimes happening, or if there is actual racism. They can always invent these attacks to lecture us on the dangers of “racism” and “Islamophobia”, and when their lies are found out, they still lecture us on the dangers of “racism” and “Islamophobia”.
When Trudeau says 2 + 2 = 5 the mainstream media simply print that 2 + 2 = 5.
